KST Color Inspection System
The Color Inspection System is equipped with an Easy-Trax as the measure platform, combines KST's powerful control technology and X-Rite's accurate measurement technology. The system is based on ISO 12647-2 printing quality standard, makes KICS Remote Ink Control System and KST Color Inspection System work together very well. It provides the efficient, economical and reliable quality process control solution for small and medium printing enterprises. The operation of closed-loop control and printing quality appraisement is very simple, so as to improve user's digital technology and standardization level greatly.
Main Features
Ink values are automatically calculated To acquire accurate color data is faster.
Operators are allowed to set own density standard for non-standard printing.
The ink key adjustment is linked to the KICS Remote Ink Control System, and it takes a couple of seconds for all ink keys adjustments.
The sheets quality report is based on ISO 12647-2 printing quality standard, scores for the presswork automatically. It is not only the basis for printing quality control, but also as a product delivery voucher.
The system can be integrated with KICS and PCS into one platform, saving the hardware investment, and simplifying the working environment.

- Ink values
The Color Inspection System can scan the color bar designed for press to get the density values of each ink zone, and calculate the corresponding ink adjustment values, and then send to the KICS Remote Ink Control System to realize automatic adjustment of ink amount. It provides printing quality control method and platform based on density and chroma.
- Report (chroma version only)
The system can create a quality report for sheet. The report contains solid density values, chroma values, trapping, dot gain curve (TVI), gray balance and so on, and scores sheets according to the ISO12647-2 printing standard. Customers can analyze the stability degree during the printing process and the compliance degree with ISO standard according to several reports; meanwhile it can simplify the communication between the printing plants and print buyers.
- International standard (chroma version only)
ISO 12647-2 printing standard has been include by this system. It can absorb more international print buyers to add their order quantity.
